Valentino's Waiting Poem by Moonchild Diva

Valentino's Waiting

Rating: 5.0

There’s a breeze blowing
through the Hollywood Hills tonight,
whispering secrets to the trees,
and I’m climbing a stairway to the stars,
because Valentino’s waiting...

And he wants to show me Falcon Lair,
he wants to feed me alligator pears,
he wants to drive as fast as he can,
he wants me to speak Italian,
and he’s waiting, Valentino’s waiting...

And he wants to sing about the Shalimar,
he wants to make me a silent movie star,
he wants to show me the desert moon,
he wants me to read his latest poem,
and he’s waiting, Valentino’s waiting...

And this time he doesn’t die, he feels like the sun,
and he’s waiting, Valentino’s waiting...
