Once Again

Once again.
The punch of rejection
ran at the right pace,
patiently waited and
perfectly positioned itself
right next to my hope.
Awaited for it to rise
to carve a trail of disappointments.
Without an invitation,
the fist of rejection set foot
into my house of courage
shattering the walls of my peace.
scattered all over the place,
is my strength to rise
