There was a time
When shoulders were raised high
When hope beautifies people's face
There was a time
When anthems were sung with joy

There was a time
When the coats of arms were cherished
When the eyes admire the beauty therein
There was a time
When flags were hoisted with pride

There was a time
When words were said from the heart
When the face beams with passion
There was a time
When the pledge is said with heartfelt joy

There was a time
When uniforms were worn with dignity
There was a time
When leaders serve with humility
There was a time
When everybody live together in unity

Those were days of...
