There is a place 
A valley alone 
Where many call home 
But no one roams 
To a different valley 
Or city afar 
For in this small valley 
You are what you are

Dreams stay dreams 
That turn to dust 
For there is no way out 
No not for us 

Once you are here 
You are here for good 
No moving forward 
Only looking back 
Back at the things
That we now lack 

Back to the times 
we thought we could 
Break away 

Back to the times 
This small valley 
Was a happy place
