Once You'Ve Had A Taste Of Perfection Poem by Sammy Sparrow

Once You'Ve Had A Taste Of Perfection

Once you've had a taste of perfection, nothing ever compares.
You told me there are a lot of fish in the water, I looked but there are none like you.
None of them have your spirit, your perfection, or your golden hue.
You told me to move on, but i have no where to go, I'm stuck with affairs.
You left a hole in me that no one but you can fill.
Your like a beautiful song that moves all hearts,
like an abstract painting that beats all arts.
Without you I'm losing my living will.
I wish i was looking into your eyes to be filled with satisfaction.
After all I've done for you perfection is what i earned.
But who knew it was so fragile, I touched and i was burned.
This is what happens when you've had a taste of perfection.
