One Day Poem by Cindy Christmas

One Day

The day will come,

When there will be no more Racism.

I hope this day come soon, because I'm sick of being discriminated.

It's like because of my skin color I'm automatically hated.

The color of my skin doesn't define who I am, but my personality does, and I'm a great person,

So if you hate me because of the color of my skin you are hating me for no reason.

I wish that we could learn to like each other.

I wish that we would be kind to one another.

Why can't we treat each other the way we would want to be treated?

Man, I think it's time that Racism was defeated.
