One Day We'll Pay Poem by Ray Hansell

One Day We'll Pay

Here it is at the end of March
But the weather feels like December
That was many storms ago
But I do still remember

It's been cold and cloudy
Along with lots of rain
Where is the spring?
What's the name of this game?

The weather is all turned around
It should be warm but it's cold
This is an ongoing story
But to many people it's getting old

Some people say it's global warming
But is anybody listening?
I know when it's too late
A lot of people will be wishing

That they had paid attention
To what people were saying
Brcause somewhere down life's road
There's a price we'll all be paying

Who is right and who is wrong
Right now we cannot say
One day we'll get the answer
If we're all still alive that day
