One Fallen From Grace Poem by Francis Duggan

Her's was a well known and loved face
But sad for her she has fallen from grace
Another victim of drugs and booze
In life you win and then you lose
For drugs and booze she has paid the price
The one with the sweet singing voice
For illegal drug use out on bail
Her lawyers trying to save her from jail
She surely does know right from wrong
This lovely former queen of song
She once stood on the heights of fame
And though her's not a forgotten name
Her glory days may now be gone
But no doubt she will keep on keeping on.
