One Last Time Poem by Karl Newton

One Last Time

Lay with me
One last time
Tomorrow
We both know
I have to go
This has to end
Through the reddest of rage
We had the greatest of days
Young fun memories
Turned sour by time
So much so we have to
Leave all this behind
Look for the love
We both deserve
A happy ending for us both
With lessons learnt from
The mistakes we made
All of which
Will be a distant memory
In a decade from now
Im sure we will laugh at how
We thought this was everything
And more
But barely
An intro note
On love lives
