A relationship
Of intimacy
My oldest and dearest friend
One on which I've always been able
To depend
A loyal and trusting friend
At times I needed one most
At times of joy
And times of despair
The friend in questions
Always there
Giving my feelings and emotions
A voice
Relief
Comfort
And joy
Watched me grow since a boy
Into a man
A friend I know will always be there
Depend on it
I can
Music
So pure and sweet
Music
My heavenly retreat
music is a meditation as well as good fried therefore, i think this poem is great one so i would like inviting read my poem also, thanks
A very sincere and moving poem about true felt love for music. A closeness and feeling that some arts do represent for some very sensitive people. A joy to read!
Nice rhythm flow and voice of gratitude for friendship. Very nice. Thanks for sharing Karl.
Music is so much more to you than just NOISE or merely SOUNDS like blaring radio music. You describe music on personal terms as a companion, a friend, a trusted friend. Your poem is long and detailed so that we are convinced of the truth of what you say. What I take from your poem is your relationship with music. It's inspiring. You rescue music from being than an overload of noise and show it has a life of its own, it shares with those who listen sympathetically.
