One Night In Your Room Poem by Alexander Foald

One Night In Your Room

One night in your room
As we stare to each other alone
Feels like one good year in life
When we walk toward the end of age

Your fingers cleave my hair down
Your lips shut me off for a moment
Your eyes bring me into the realm
Where I can see the sky as clear as ocean

And I’m waiting for your call
Make me be the one you’d hold
Cause I feel so much love in the world
It never seems enough to be unfold

Say those three words for me
And we’ll let it grow from here
Don’t make my heart disappear
And I’ll tell you what you want to hear
