One of the 'Greats'
We shall not forget,
we remember yet
the name of a very great man:
Sir Geoffrey de Havilland,
born eighteen eighty-two
died nineteen sixty-five.
As British Founder of the
De Havilland Aircraft Company,
he designed The Moth,
The Mosquito Fighter Bomber
and the Comet Jet Air Liner.
Fame in the Twentieth Century.
Knighted with the OM; we still
honour his name.
