ONE POEM LEADS TO ANOTHER

One poem leads to another
As day to day
As night to night,
Building on suggestions left behind
On the forever incompleteness of whatever is done.
One poems leads to another
All words run into the sea
And the sea is not full
And life too passes
And we grow old,
And one poem runs into another
And there is no end forever
Of what is always ending
And we live and we die
And perhaps God knows why.
