One World Two Realms

Drifing, floating, nowhere, somewhere
my heart confused with uncertainties
as my soul drifts further and further
from the physical world
searching for answers to my
consumption of thoughts
and my hearts emotions

I wonder through the city streets
aimlessly, drifing at a slow steady pace
nothing seems as it should
it all seems so surreal
including my own physical being

I can not feel my own body weight
beneath my feet
I am as light as a feather
I have no worries or cares
of the physical world that surrounds me
as I am in another realm

feeling a calm numbness to my hearts emotions
lost in my own thoughts
drifting, floating, nowhere, somewhere

I am searching for what my heart desires
my soul has been searching for you
who consumes my thoughts
fills my heart and frees my soul

As I walk at a slow steady pace
my minds eye has created a playground
you are with me in spirit
swinging on the swings
swaying in an even flowing motion
our spirits so light, together so free.
as we swing along gracefully
in harmony

on the see-saw
a slow, steady, smooth even motion
as you go up and I go down
as our spirits are equally balanced

I climb the ladder
to slide down the slide
a sense of achievement
when I reach the top
knowing the best is yet to come

we walk across the little wooden walkbridge
the moonshine glistering
on the ripples of the waters surface
before it passes beneath us
romantic, calm and soothing for our souls
I feel you are with me, in spirit by my side.

beautiful blue/gray shimmering moon
with that bright single star to the right of you
how you would light up her beautiful eyes
like that single star to your right,
beautiful moon,
your energy so strong and pure
I wish she were here with me
under your shivering, glamourous, glistening, light

drifting, floating, flying nowhere, somewhere
with the subtle cold breeze, I am reminded
of the physical world around me
drifting, floating, flying, nowhere, somewhere
nor here, nor there
searching for answers to my thoughts,
to my hearts emotions for you

Poem of the Day

poet Rupert Brooke

If I should die, think only this of me:
That there's some corner of a foreign field
That is for ever England. There shall be
In that rich earth a richer dust concealed;
