Walk with me on the river bank
Just you and I, hand in hand.
Capture my heart, whisper those words
Only lovers can understand.

Lie at my side on the grass so green
Beneath the tree, in the breeze.
Tell me your thoughts, sing me sweet songs
'Propose' on your bended knees.

Place golden rings on my fingers fine,
And there they will always stay
Until stars lose their shine and shimmer
Or the sun and moon fade away.
