Only Person I Will Ever Hate Poem by Liz Eckel

He had caused everyone tears,
but he doesn't care,
he just goes on drinking his beers.

She had given him the only thing left, her very fragile heart,
but he just threw that away and tore her apart.

He had broken her in two,
He had started dating her cousin,
as if nobody knew,
she was later broken into a dozen.

Her broken heart lead to drugs,
Nothing could have helped her,
not even our hugs.

This lead to the death of someone very special to me,
she was known as my mother,
That is one person I'll always dream to see.

And so he has become the person I put all of my hatred towards,
I want to watch him suffer and peg at him a thousand swords.

I hate my father, yes I do,
Your lucky this most likely never happened to you.

The main reason I hate him is that he broke her heart,
I had been there before,
hatred of life began to start.

He's the only person I will ever hate,
never could it be you,
You should be thankful this
didn't happen to you.
