Only You, Only You By: Taylor Donnelly Poem by Taylor P. Donnelly

Only You, Only You By: Taylor Donnelly

Only You, Only You
By: Taylor Donnelly

Feel the aching in your chest feel the panic in your hand
I'm telling you this so you can understand
Its called life, its called love, its reality
Its how things are suppose to be
At its most painful, life is at its most perfect part
Because even when we fall apart
We are just living from the start

Broken and bruised we are what we can take
The physical hurt can never break
What the mind will never shake
And one day you will awake

Because you tried to get here
You made it all appear
With a little pinch of mischief and fear
With a good helping of good cheer
I think it should be clear
But i don't think you hear

Its not me who will break you
That the only i cant do
That's you baby
Only you can be
The thing that makes you break
And the thing that makes you shake
And only you can awake
And only you cant put all of that at stake
For one mistake
