Onomatopoeia Of Gloom Poem by Alyssa Anne Sunico

Onomatopoeia Of Gloom

Rating: 4.5

Steel meets skin
Veins poppingly blue
Smooth under rushing blood
One swish! Done.

Hesitation sinks in
'It's just a metaphor'
Blood taunts blade
It chants, 'Feel me'

Just a tiny hint of pressure
Oops! Too far
Dig in a little deeper
Shiver runs through my hands

Blade falls endlessly
Frustration echoes
Deep breath of relief
I want to die and I want to live
