Open Book Poem by Samantha Campbell

Open Book

He Has Me Like An Open Book
Pages Dusted off

Invisible Lettering Now Imprinting Lightly
Stories of Forgotten Trilogies
Tragedies Undiscovered

Yet Very Much Suffered
Ink Blood Red Even Though
Blind To His Impaired sight
He Feels The Metal Exterior

Heats the Cold Emotions No longer
Put off To Be Inferior

Missing His Fabulous font
Inside in Fine Print Remains
His Dedication

To He Who Needs No Summary for
Greatness Has No Explanation

Drama Filled Inside Wondering about
Tamed Destiny Denting Within
the Corners of Special Pages
Where I Wish for Him To Read.

Chapter 'Open Your Door'
Message Love Me Please
I Beg of Him Without Lowering Dignity
for It is only within
Perfected Prose He Pens
Sharpie Like Bold Font

Dedication Continues the next
Paragraph
Emotional Innuendo With Sexual Tendencies
A Grown Up Novel is Me

Maturing Pages Sticking Due To
the Lack of Reading

Comprehend Me Please
As You Fast Forward To Passion
and Climax Not Knowing
that Blank Page requires you're
own Poetry

For He Has Me Shining
Letter To Letter
Smiling In Parentheses
And aspiring in italics

His Name Underlined Within
Key Places As he and I share
a So[u]le Soliloquy

Dreams Come True
At Least In Parts of my Story
Chronicles of Infatuation

Revealing While Concealing
Within Grandiose Grammar
All Looping Back to
[him]

He who Has Me Narrating
Untold Stories Under Blue Skies
Bright Rooms In Dark Circumstances

Disney Has Nothing on Conceptual Creativity With
Connections and Commotions Like
such a Fantastical We

See
He
Has
Me

Like An Open Book for everyone
to Read
As I Release
Sighs and Moans
where he Pressed
A Seal as he Penned
Excellence Inside
Ignoring my Title

'Open Your Heart'

For I Only Wish To
Be His Happily Forever After
At Least for a While

Publish Me Handling Me Already With Care

As I Fix Misspelled Moments and
Failing Grammar Usage Adding
Predicates
Where
You
and
I
Loving

Are Considered

For He Has Me Like an Open Book

Subtitled
'Let Me Love You'
with: Guaranteed Happiness Right Under
BY
A Wo[man] of My Word
A Poet

Your Satiating Company
...Yours Truly, Me...
