Open The Door

Look around at world confusion
The blind majority
At the state of man’s delusion
Of self-authority

Deceived, utterly confounded
How Adam’s race behaves
By God virtuously grounded
Now the devil’s slaves

Though Adam’s eyes failed God to see
God’s voice he could hear
If confident, God must therefore be
Where did faith disappear?

Somehow somewhere deep inside
Transformation’s occurred
Doubtlessly doubt has been supplied
Through which heart’s eyes are blurred

Man’s heart and not his godlike mind
Knowing evil from good
Till shame and doubt has made us blind
To living as we should

Never, will doubt, reach Heaven’s door
Only who’ll truth pursue
Will live as no body before
Through faith, when walking true

Faith in Christ brings amazing peace
Eternal joy and love
Miraculous power, release
For living life above

Faith, true faith, in creation’s King
Life’s risen Lord on high
Will cause man’s very soul to sing
Knowing they’ll never die…..
