Orange Friday Poem by Uche Nduka

Orange Friday

Between two deep breaths.
an urge, a touch. i smell of
you and coffee and wine. abalone
at hand. assymetries to no avail.
we who are about to be born.
laughter, dice. five blocks to your place.
or take the case of being surprised
by memory and musk. the light from
which we sprung. what's due to us.
like when you lifted your dress
and tattooed your music. limitless access.
as if my say had much/anything to do with it.
