Order Poem by Aaron Lee Brown

Order

Order Order is my mind's cry
In chaos is where my thoughts will lie.
A rush, a thrill, a pumping heart
Troubles be gone and forth depart

A fit, a rage, an inward fight
so strong to tear my sleep from night
The sun, the birds and morrow's thrill
will all at once make nightmares real

But why, but why this uneasy fray
has come upon me on this day
Hyde or Jekyll I can't decide
My choices oppose and soon collide

To hide, to show my feelings true
or let them stay without a clue
I think, I know a peaceful rest
Will ne'er be found within my chest
