Our God-Given Child Poem by Dr Anish Mathew John

Our God-Given Child

Never would we blessed this great
Wish such a wonder child you dear
Your cries, your smiles and all your tricks
All makes us great with pride abound.

Born you dear in blessed June
Heard you cry, first time on earth
Filled our eyes with joy and love
Parents the title got conferred on us.

Spoke you less but more in deeds
Dear you are in all little things
'Beauty' the word so short to spell
The wonder you are, our wonder star.

Dad and mom, we care a lot
For the Lord our God, He gifted you
He loves you more than how we could
For He is the Lord, the one true God.

Reach the sky, you'll make Him proud
Angels aside, all saints to guide
Conform you not to the world this cold
Your paths all lead to heaven above.
