Our Hauntings

I haunt you like you used to haunt me
You always made fun of what I used to be
The words you said echoed in my mind
You were never kind
Your voice I always heard
Telling me to kill yourself you stupid nerd
My bullying was emotional so you couldn't see
The bruises and scars you left on me
Yet you found this a funny joke
Those awful things you always spoke
Are you happy you wanted me dead
Now I'll be the memory you dread
Just like your laughter always ringing in my ears
I hope your guilt makes you shed tears
I hope to bullying you'll put an end
I also hope you get better friends
The ones I wished I could have
Ones that make you happy instead of sad
Bullying is an awful strife
How I dealt with the pain was a knife
When I cut the words vanished out of my mind
It dealt with the pain is what I would find
As they stood beside my grave
They wondered if me they could have save
But alas it's to late
I suffered from an awful fate
How you can now become my friend
Is by putting your bullying to an end
I see you're haunted and I know why
Just let it all out and cry
I know that's why your knees are bent..
By my grave you sit and repent
I never wanted to haunt you myself
I know what It's like to need help
So I'll be your help from beyond the grave
You I will now help save

Poem of the Day

poet George Gordon Byron

So we'll go no more a-roving
So late into the night,
Though the heart still be as loving,
And the moon still be as bright.

For the sword outwears its sheath,
