Our Just Desserts!
The best desserts I ever tried
Were often baked and seldom fried.
The best desserts I ever ate
Were ones my Father would create.
I tried to make a trifle once,
But it turned out I was a dunce.
The icicles were here and there,
The rest was just a mixed nightmare.
I've never tried from that day on,
My cooking days are long since gone!
