OUR LOK SABHA ELECTIONS:
2009!

The winner takes it all, looking both happy
and tall!
The looser stands humbled, licking the wounds
and looking small!
In a true Democracy, let only ‘performance’ be, -
The measuring yardstick for the them all!
And as that old saying goes, -
In politics there are no permanent friends or foes!
And our many politicians who are opportunists;
Who are neither moralists nor true nationalists;
Often change colour like the Chameleon!
They stand with their both legs apart,
Leaning on two boats from the start!
But when they fall as they must,
Can you guess which two things* get crushed? ! !
