Our Own Poem by Michael Hinojosa

These words come from lessons taught,
this will be short in length
but i hope very much,
it may give you strength.

He has told me,
people who don't fear they're weapon,
have no right to wield it at all,
to that i second.

Power is a thing,
a tremendous thing we all poses,
then there is the decision to make,
to use that power for destruction or success.

Here my words halt,
they come to an end,
weapons and power are used to create enemies,
lets use them to make a friend.
