Our Planets Future In Doubt Poem by John Fenton Mcleish

Our Planets Future In Doubt

Cannot believe that I am still alive
I thought they would have done me in by now
Being here comes as such a surprise
Still breathing but I really don't know how

S'ppose no one reads poetry anyway
Maybe to them I'm just a waste of time
Though I write about Zion, freemasonry
And to them that is a serious crime

Bullying and intimidation
Spreading rumours and malicious lies
Then it's bankruptcy and taxation
For they always use the same strategy

I am no hero but I must speak out
For our planets future is now in doubt
