A breath escapes her lips,
A tear falls from her eye,
A thought crosses her mind,
Still,
Outside She Smiles.

All the lonely nights,
Flash in front of her eyes,
She shivers silently with the wind,
Yet,
Outside She Smiles.

She laughs the loudest laugh,
Her face glowing in the light,
No one can see the broken soul,
Because,
Outside She Smiles.

She misses the company she never had,
The healing embrace she doesnt know,
With long nights of staring into the blanknes,
But,
Outside She Smiles.

She remembers hugging her pillow,
Her only faithful friend,
Never remembering the time she falls asleep,
And,
Outside She Smiles.

Sunny days are nothing but moments,
Moments that come and go with time,
In this long Winter, she yearns for the sun,
And in that hope,
Outside She Smiles.
