Outta Here. Poem by Buddy Bee Anthony

Outta Here.

Who do you gotta know
to get some love round here
What do you gotta show
Where do you gotta go
to get some respect around here
Who do you gotta blow

When the squeaky wheel
gets no grease
Who do you come to for some release
I don't know
we outta here

What do you gotta know
to get some traction 'round here
Who do you gotta snow,
What do you gotta show
to get some flow around here
what do you gotta grow?

I see what I wanna see
I be what I wanna be
I free what I wanna free
Not everything is
what it is supposed to be
I'll be your angel's face
Cuz, I knew you were an angel
and I want another taste
I want another taste

I knew you were an angel
and you'd write a song about me
I knew you were an angel,
who'd cut the love chains off of me.

You asked me why
I live in the park
away and apart
Because my soul can't be marked.
They can't scare me in the dark
By the light of their spark
and if you wanna know more
then we outta here.
