Over The Chill Of Night Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

Over The Chill Of Night

R-ising sun in the morning
E-liminates the moonlight;
Y-ou'll be bathed with warmth
N-ow that the beacon burns bright.
A-llow the dawn to break,
L-et it leave the twilight;
D-ay fourth January morn
O-bliterates the sad plight.

B-ehold the sky at noontime,
A-s the sun meets the zenith;
L-et him say sweet hello
T-o the clouds underneath.
A-s the dusk starts to appear,
Z-one of lamps is illuminate;
A-fternoon slowly fades,
R-ise of the moon is great.

E-venfall shows up again,
B-eginning to reign left and right;
R-ays from above will win
O-ver the chill of
N-ight.
