P.S (I'M Alive) Poem by Zoe Martin

P.S (I'M Alive)

Let the ground swallow me up for I belong below,
Not wise by heart but wise by mind, for my mind is all I know.
I feel so isolated in a claustrophobic state,
The biggest fear I have is that our lives are run by fate.
Don't bargin with the Reaper unless you know the price,
He's a man not to be played with, and he's nothing if not concise.
It's not that I am blind or cannot see the pain,
But this unpredictive humor is all that keeps me sane.
A silent kiss, a pointless vow and a thousand empty prayers,
I will trust anyone just not myself to take my life as theirs.
Captivated by a civilisation thats become so damn hostile,
Dissect my heart and share it between everyone who made me smile.
Take it so they can't and put it to some use,
Take my words and weave them, then make yourself a noose.
