Pain And Sadness
Pain and sadness also need company, comfort,
reassurance and a place to come home to.
Welcome them, listen to what they have to say,
lots of learning and insights from listening
but don't chat back, nor offer food or tea.
They'll soon shorten their visits
and rather extend their visits with those
who love to engage and feed them
