When our hearts no more feel,
It is numbed…
When our eyes no more see,
It is blinded…
When our ears no more hear,
It is deaf…
to the pain and suffering of others,
there is disease in our heart.
The soul is dead,
though the tongue is speaking,
and the lung is breathing.

Son, for you to live a true meaningful life,
Let your heart feels,
your eyes see,
And your ears hear,
To the pain and suffering of others!
It is life, living.
