Pain Of Being Left Behind Poem by Janice Launio

Pain Of Being Left Behind

You came into my life,
Like shining armor at dark night.
Promising of unending love,
Happiness that last.
We stood together in laughter and tears,
Today's are not mutual, they are only in my eyes.
I can't believe you've got caught with these lies,
I never turn my back on you, our bond is so strong.
It's you would admit what you have done is wrong,
Or shall I need to accept that everything happen for a reason?
I try to support you in whatever choice you make,
But if I supported you in this I would making a big mistake.
You stepped a lot of making this choice,
When I try to talk to you, it seem that I have no voice.
It's hurts so badly when I think what you have done,
I want to leave you behind but I don't have courage to run.
I want to slapped your face for you to feel and understand,
But my heart don't allowed me to do so.
You are my one but I don't know you anymore,
You shut everything out and lost the key to the door.
You never understand how much pain you've caused on me,
But still I'm ready to catch you when you are ready to fall.
