Pain Still
Seeing the damage we can cause
we try to get away
we try to unfeel what is between
but we're victims of our own weaknesses
we run back and damage more
why, why
because we have it in us
its why we cry at birth
An insightful piece of poetry, well encapsulated and nicely penned with conviction.
