Painful, Good And Marvelous Poem by Ray Hansell

Painful, Good And Marvelous

When I'm holding you
I wonder to myself
Am I holding my future
Or will you be with someone else

Kissing you is wonderful
Beautiful beyond words
When our lips are meetings
I hear the singing of the birds

Loving can be painful
Loving can be good
Loving can be marvelous
When you treat it like you should

When we make love together
You take complete control
As together on the bed
We always rock and roll

When the loving is over
I lay there holding you
Right then at that moment
I'm doing just what I want to do
