In the dark, I can cry
for no one can see me
In the dark, I daresay
for nobody can hear me

Thousands of tears rolling over my cheeks
without leaving a single trace
With the only evidence left
the taste of salt on my lips and face

But when my Angels come to life
i will be saved by their strength
For they scare the darkness away
so that I can leave that painful night

In the new daylight, I can cry
only laughing tears
In the new daylight, I can say
for what I mean and how I feel
