Painting Poem by Robert J Meyer

Painting

He watched fretfully
As she, with paint brush far too large for her preschool hands,
Splashed liquid sage aggressively against the wall
While she swung her head around to smile,
And wild tangles of wheat straw hair
Swept through the globby new patch.
