Pandemic Poem by carl wilde

Pandemic

I can sense mine acquisitive disease,
That courses through my spirit with ease.
Mine wanton enslavement so inevitable,
For I am convinced that it is bearable.
Yet I yearn to break this cognizant spell,
Or else languish ad infinitum,
In mine materialistic hell!
