The humans call it Fathers' Day.
It happens in June once a year.
Time for children to do and say
This and that to fill Dad with cheer,
Here at home in Lincoln Park Zoo.
My two gorilla girls I see,
Toting a package 'tween the two.
Both grinning, handed it to me,
In bright paper tied with a bow.
I knew they wanted to please Dad,
So roared with delight - doncha know!
Worth seeing both girls so sure glad.
Opening, I tried not to sigh.
Where am I gonna wear a tie!
