Para kay Ina... Mula sa Kanyang Anak

O aking ina,
Minamahal kita
Sa buhay ko
Ika'y higit pa
Pag ika'y wala,
Ako'y di kompleto
Kaya ina
Pangako
Pag ako nagkatrabaho,
Pag ako nag-asawa
Di kita iiwanan
Ako'y nariyan
Tutulungan kita
Di kita pababayaan
Ika'y aking pakaiingatan.

english translation:

O my mom,
I love you much
In my life
You are the greatest
If you're not here,
I am incomplete
So my mom,
I promise
If I had my own job
If I had my own family
I 'm not be away
I'm just around
I'll serve you
I'm not gonna let you go
I'll take care of you.

    This is just a thought on my part. I do believe that the majority of the people here if not english speaking, at least understand english. You might be able to get more people to read your work if you translated it into English. I understand the symetry and the poetry may not work translated but it is just a thought.
