Paradise In Trouble Poem by Gerry Legister

Paradise In Trouble

Paradise in the middle of trouble
Today, accumulates that intense stare,
Neighbors portray breathing taking exile
The threat of fear, raging anxiety to wear.

The dreams that cannot share their bliss
It is not just love that breaks the heart,
But the speechless experiences we possess
Inside, the forged realities tearing us apart.

But paradise is that silent unspoken latitude,
A terrain reigning within, a king and queen
Of our great moods in untroubled solitude
Seren as being snubbed in a terrible ravine

Paradise is being sold for almost nothing
Leave this world looking grim.
