Paralysis Of A Scream Poem by Timothy Kelly

Paralysis Of A Scream

It is desecration, a blasphemy
stained innocence of a child.
Ugly affliction, she cannot refuse
Omnipotent God.
Where is her messiah?
Fear is a chloroform, concealed in her prayer.
Sacrilege.
No one hears.
A secret inside, Sacrament of suffering.

His will be done.
Oh, the violation and she is forasaken.
Shame, now her cross.
Small, powerless soul
disguises her pain.
Where is the Rapture?
Discounted and Alone
