My Polish blood stirs me
But I was born in France
Paris now calling me
Singers singing to me
Dancers in lively streets
Poets beckoning me
Beautiful women there
Not too late for old man
Heart attack may happen
But such joy in my heart
Geeta, THX so very much for adding my Paris poem to your favourites. That's a great compliment, considering that you love Paris.
Hi Richard, your nostalgic, yet humorous take on Paris, I enjoyed. I have never been there. But I love to be, for its artistic splendour. Some time. Like you.5 *s and Myfav
Great to read your very positive comments, Poet Menon. Very happy that you liked my poem enough to add it to your favourites. THX so very much!
When Paris calls...how can you even think of saying no? See you in the City of Lights?
I believe that all of you have made the decision for me. If not this year, then next year. I'll let you know, my good friend. And we'll be bringing Kerouac's spirit with us. He's a favourite in the City of Lights!
Paris is one of my favourite destinations. To my favourite as well.
Maybe you can send me some travel tips about Paris, Geeta. I would really really appreciate that! Or better yet, please write a poem or two about the City of Lights. That would be AWESOME!
Wow Richard! March forward! Paris it is - most captivating! Age is just a number. Enjoy your life.....Not to worry about a heart attack at all..Top marks
Geeta, the heart attack is my dark sense of human re: Parisienne women. And you're absolutely right about age being a state of mind. Nobody believes me when I tell them my age. Must be the tennis and the poetry. Forever young!
