Parting Kiss Poem by Uriah Hamilton

Parting Kiss

Rating: 5.0

The fragile life
Of a newly born baby
Helpless
In the world of adults
Journeys paths
Exciting, bland,
Hopeful, sad,
Optimistic, despairing,
With strength, weakness,
Fortitude, feebleness,
Eventually becoming
Flower seed in the earth
After a parting kiss
Accompanied by tears.

Goodbyes are always sad. But this one is especially fragile and beautiful. I am deeply touched. Warmest regards, Sandra
