last night we had a party
all your invited friends
came with cheers
and i obliged to be
the life of your party

i look for you and you
were gone
inside the room
very tired and sleeping.

sadly, no friend of yours
asked for you
busy with themselves
with their stories
about their kin and family
their career and fortune
self-centeredly.....

kampai! i said
buen salud, they said.
