Passing Clouds Poem by Deepak Calyampoondi

Passing Clouds

The winds of fate blows,
the cloud in us,
a change in mood,
we forget to hoist the sail,
and regret after we have failed.

Nobody is to last,
in the sands of eternal time,
Yet everyone asks 'One more time'.

Life keeps moving like the cloud,
Yet we want to catch the moment that made us proud,
moment, a snapshot of time, fades as memories do,
We ought to be in the present,
work at our best,
for we don't really know when we can be blown to rest,
or rather become just dust.
