Passion Of Villanelle Poem by Ima Ryma

Passion Of Villanelle

Oh, Henri how I do miss you.
No island prison deters me.
Each day in a small boat I do
Row over so passionately,
To show the world that I do care
Of love we have and love we had,
And such bonding we did share.
It matters not that you went mad.
I know that such was caused by strife
Of having to face the cruel fate
We'd never be husband and wife,
That passion we both contemplate.

Henri, we never be apart,
For you will always hold my heart.
