Paul Poem by Chelsea Hansford

Paul

Rating: 4.5

I remember it so clearly,
That weeping, crying day,
when all my courage vanished,
When i had nothing else to say.
Standing at your grave site,
I couldnt quite express,
the love i always felt for you,
So this time i will confess.
I knew you for a long time,
and what i didnt show,
was that i was completely smitten,
my love would grow and grow.
I pictured us together,
And when you held me tight,
i knew that it was perfect,
i knew that it was right.
I didnt ever tell you,
I thought you wouldnt care,
I didnt think you'd love me,
And now you're no longer here.
Standing at your grave site,
A rose laid out for you,
I will treasure you forever,
But i think you already knew.
